Technical data of the AL-KO MH 5007 R cultivator
With the MH 5007 R tiller and its working width of 50 cm, the loosening of medium sized areas, even if it is dry or loamy soils can be achieved with minimal effort. The ease of working compared to manual work with shovel and spade is enormous.
The 4 actively working, specially star shaped tiller blades are designed for maximum cultivating performance - and the strong 2.3 kW engine of the MH 5007 R ensures good pulling power. The manoeuvring of the robust device is also simple: With the MH 5007 R, you can simply switch between forward and reverse gears when needed - making it completely flexible. The worm gear in the oil bath ensures a long service life.
The ergonomic operating elements of the MH 5007 R make it easier for you to work in almost any position. If required, you can simply swivel the height-adjustable handlebar and to your desired height - so you no longer need to walk over the cultivated ground. With the infinitely adjustable brake spur you can adjust the working depth individually.
Safety is the key: The safety lever prevents the unintentional rotating of the tiller blades. In addition, the high-quality blade cover of the cultivator is made of sturdy sheet steel protects the operator against flying stones and earth.

Why does the engine of the scythe mower smoke white after starting?
The unit was tilted wrongly, oil is in the muffler and / or air filter. The air filter must be dismantled and cleaned. Then check and adjust the oil level in the engine. Then let the engine run, after a few minutes, the smoke should decrease. Warning: unburned engine oil drips out of the silencer so be aware of environmental pollution! For cleaning, only tilt the appliance according to the instructions.
Why does the engine of the scythe mower smoke black after starting?
The air filter may be dirty and need to be replaced. The oil level in the engine must be checked and adjusted. Then let the engine run. If the smoke does not stop, the device should be checked by an AL-KO service partner
The cultivator is difficult to start. Can I use start pilot or similar?
We strongly advise against the use of take-off pilot or similar. Chemicals can in the worst case lead to engine damage. We recommend a review and possibly carburettor cleaning by an AL-KO service partner
Why does the engine run rough and / or cut out immediately after starting?
Check fuel tank contents, top up with petrol if necessary. Some suction carburetors always leave a residue of one to two cm of fuel in the tank. Residues in the fuel or a defective air filter can get dirt into the carburettor. The carburetor must be removed and cleaned.
Which type of fuel can be used in the 4-stroke engine?
It can take any petrol with min. 77 oct. Super Unleaded fuel is 95 oct and can be safely used. Each motor is suitable for E10 - Do not store fuel for over 4 weeks as it will start to go bad if untreated.
Which type of oil can be used in the 4-stroke engine?
An SAE 30 motor oil is recommended, a 5W30 or 10W40 can also be used.
How do I store the cultivator over winter?
Clean the unit, change the air filter, spark plug and oil. Store in a dry place
