Technical Details of The Premium 520 VSi-B
With a cutting width of 51 cm, the Premium 520 VSi-B petrol lawn mower ensures rapid progress even in large gardens (up to 1800 m²). The cutting height is adjusted centrally in up to 7 steps from 30 mm to 80 mm. Thanks to the 2.6 kW Briggs & Stratton engine with electric key starting and the wheel drive (with variable speed control from 2.5 to 4.5 km / h) in combination with the XXL smooth-running wheels, mowing the garden (even on a slope) is effortless. The 4IN1function offers mowing, catching, mulching and side discharge of the lawn. The optimal cockpit with easily accessible controls and the pleasant soft handle make mowing lawn a pleasure. Thanks to the extra high sheet steel housing with MaxAirflow technology, the grass clippings reach the back of the 70 litre grass catcher with level indicator, which means that it is filled to the top and requires emptying less often. The integrated handle on the front of the "Premium" lawnmower is ideal when it comes to transporting, storing (upstanding function) the lawnmower or lifting it over steps or obstacles in the garden.

Why does the lawnmower run rough and / or cut out again immediately after starting?
Check fuel tank contents, top up with petrol if necessary. Some suction carburetors always leave a residue of one to two cm of fuel in the tank. Residues in the fuel or a defective air filter can get dirt into the carburettor. The carburetor must be removed and cleaned.
Which type of fuel can be used for the lawnmower (4-stroke engine)?
It can take any petrol with min. 77 oct. Super Unleaded fuel is 95 oct and can be safely used. Each motor is suitable for E10 - Do not store fuel for over 4 weeks as it will start to go bad if untreated.
Which type of oil can be used for AL-KO lawn mower (4-stroke engine)?
An SAE 30 motor oil is recommended, a 5W30 or 10W40 can also be used.
How do I overwinter the lawnmower?
Clean the unit, change the air filter, spark plug and oil. The blade may be sharpened and balanced. Store in a dry place.
Why is the lawnmower's grassbox not properly filled?
Possible causes: grass too wet, too much long grass, driving speed too fast, dirty mower deck, wrong engine speed, collector box ventilation holes clogged.
Why are the blades of grass on my lawn not cut cleanly?
The blade may need be sharpened, the mower deck cleaned, and the engine speed possibly set. Please contact an AL-KO service partner
