For the environmentally friendly supply of service water in the home and garden

AL-KO domestic waterworks are particularly suitable for the use of cistern or well water as service water for household appliances, for the automatic and effective watering of gardens and for increasing the pressure in the domestic water network. The purchase of a domestic waterworks represents a sensible investment, because it reduces the consumption of drinking water. In addition, AL-KO products are energy-saving and, depending on the model, have the Eco mode, which reduces consumption by up to 15 percent.

AL-KO domestic water dispensers are characterised by their small footprint and manageability and, above all, their constant pressure output during operation - this is particularly advantageous for lawn sprinklers. They ensure an automatic, electronically controlled supply of domestic water as soon as a consumer is turned on. Domestic water dispensers can be used to operate washing machines and showers in the home in a cost-saving manner. A dry-running protection system protects the pump against possible damage if water is not available. The easy-to-clean XXL filter also ensures optimum protection against contamination. Thanks to the non-return valve integrated into the filter, AL-KO domestic water dispensers draw in water particularly quickly and are therefore easy to put into operation.

Advantages of domestic waterworks
Domestic waterworks | AL-KO domestic waterworks Advantages

All in one

AL-KO Premium domestic waterworks combine the advantages of the pump types domestic waterworks and domestic water automats: fully automatic operation, electronic monitoring and low energy consumption.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO Economical and fully automatic

Saving and fully automatic

Low electricity consumption, as the domestic waterworks feed smaller water withdrawals from the water supply in the pressure vessel. This is supported by the optional ECO mode, in which the pump delivers even more economically and efficiently.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO Boiler pressure monitoring

boiler pressure monitoring

The intelligent, electronic control system not only monitors the operation of the domestic waterworks by dry-running protection, but also regularly checks whether there is sufficient air supply in the pressure vessel, thus ensuring greater operational reliability and a longer service life.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO Smart control

Smart control system

The intelligent electronic control system with flow control system monitors the operation of the domestic waterworks around the clock and thus ensures optimum protection of the pump against dry running. If the water is not available, the pump is switched off immediately - so the pump does not run hot.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO Flow-Measurement-System

Everything in view

The Flow-Measurement-System shows all operating conditions such as flow rate or pressure on the digital display. This means that the current operating status can always be read off and, if necessary, can be easily changed.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO domestic waterworks with integrated XXL filter

Clean thing

The integrated XXL filter (on Comfort and Premium models) protects the pump and non-return valve optimally from dirt and guarantees reliable operation. The filter can be easily removed for cleaning and replacement without removing the suction set.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO Quiet domestic waterworks

Very nice and quiet

Permanently installed in the house or cellar, the domestic waterworks HW 6000 FMS Premium not only supplies a great deal of water and switches on automatically when water is tapped - with a maximum sound emission of 73 dB(A) it is also extremely quiet.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO HW 6000 FMS Premium

Efficient and economical

With an efficiency of over 30 percent, the HW 6000 FMS is extremely efficient and energy-saving. In addition, energy consumption can be reduced by 15 % by switching to ECO mode.

Domestic waterworks | AL-KO 5-stage conveyor technology

performance in every position

The 5-stage conveyor technology of the HW 6000 FMS allows a maximum flow rate of 6,000 l/h. Operation is monitored by an intelligent electronic control system which, together with the integrated dry-running protection, guarantees a long service life of the pump.

House waterworks - what is that ?

A domestic waterworks is the effective solution for domestic water use and thus contributes to environmental protection. The pumps pump water up to a height of 60 m from a cistern, well or rainwater barrel into the house. XXL filters and non-return valves effectively protect the domestic waterworks and pipes against deposits. Profit from these possibilities.

Domestic waterworks and domestic water automat | AL-KO Saving water in household and garden

Water saving made easy

The average water consumption of a person in this country is around 120 litres per person per day. The additional use of rainwater in the garden and household could replace about 35 to 40 litres of drinking water per person and day.

A large part of the water is used as service water (Source: Statista):
|Bathing, showering & body care: 36%

|Toilet flushing: 36 %
| Laundry washing: 12 %
| Small commercial: 9 %
| Garden, cleaning, car care: 6 %
| Dishwashing: 6 %
| Eating and drinking: 4 %

consumption could easily be reduced by around 33 % (toilet and garden) by using rainwater.

Rainwater use in the home
In the garden, rainwater use can be solved quite easily with a rain barrel and water pump. When using rainwater in the home, however, there are a few points to consider:

| Only use rainwater from suitable roof surfaces - roof coverings made of copper and zinc are considered unsuitable because of soluble and insoluble metal compounds.

| Install a water storage tank in a suitable place to ensure that the water storage temperature is below 18 °C. The water capacity of conventional rainwater storage tanks is between 2,000 and 10,000 litres, usually in the form of underground cisterns made of concrete or plastic.

| Fine filter the water before storing it to ensure a permanently good water quality. Downpipe filters, central collection filters or ready-installed filters in the storage tank are the typical variants.

| Strict separation of drinking and rainwater systems - this is one of the most important basic requirements. In order to avoid any confusion of pipes, there is an obligation to label service water pipes. In addition, rainwater taps must be marked with a "no drinking water" label.

| No tap pressure without a domestic waterworks: Use an AL-KO domestic waterworks or a domestic water dispenser to make the water available as needed.

Legal: The use of rainwater in the garden is not subject to any special regulations - however, according to the Drinking Water Ordinance, the use of rainwater in the house must be reported to the competent authority (usually the public health department) and must also be monitored by this body. In addition, the water supply statutes of the local municipality must also be observed. In extreme cases, they may provide for the so-called "compulsory use" of water from the public water supply.

Long-life domestic waterworks
To ensure that our domestic waterworks always fulfil their tasks, they have several safety-relevant features. Depending on the model, the pressure vessels are made of stainless steel, which protects against corrosion and rust. An integrated dry-running protection switches off the pump as soon as no water flows. Large, easy-to-clean pre-filters collect coarse and less coarse impurities from the water and thus guarantee a long service life. Particularly powerful: Our pumps have one to five-stage pump drives and can therefore achieve delivery heads of up to 60 m and flow rates of up to 6,000 l/h.

House water dispensers: constant pressure thanks to intelligent control
Two things are responsible for the quality of our devices: Firstly, the intelligent, electronic Automatic Control - it permanently monitors the operation of the house water dispenser and thus ensures optimum protection against dry running. Secondly, the motors have plenty of power. They have an output of up to 1400 W and the 1 to 5-stage pump drives deliver up to 6,000 l/h. The maximum delivery head of our domestic water dispensers is 60 m.
