The installation videos show how the Robotic lawnmower operates and also provide useful installation tips
How does Robolinho work?
Fully automatically after an installation in only three steps: A thin cable is run around the lawn area on the ground. When this border cable is encountered, it tells Robolinho where not to go and Robolinho then moves off randomly in a different direction. All areas of the law and are thus effectively mowed. The base station is positioned at the edge of the mowing area and Robolinho will search for it automatically when its batteries run low. Now set Robolinho's weekly programme, make any fine adjustments and it's ready to go!
Do I need to bury the border cable?
No the freshly run cable will disappear below the grass surface in 2 to 4 weeks. The supplied lawn pegs secure the cable to the ground. But you are free to bury the cable if you wish up to a maximum of 6 cm.
What happens with flowerbeds and trees that are in the middle of the lawn?
Robolinho is prevented from mowing these areas by means of a border cable.
What happens if Robolinho encounters a random object on the lawn?
If the object has a minimum height of 4-5 cm, Robolinho will bump into it and start off in a different (random) direction.
Can it handle inclinations?
The large, treaded wheels provide excellent traction for uneven surfaces and inclinations up to 35%.
If I want to let my Robolinho work while I am not at home, do I have to worry that it will be stolen?
Robolinho is protected via PIN and PUK code just like your mobile phone. This code must be entered before the first use and makes Robolinho unusable for anyone that does not have the code.
What happens to the grass clippings?
The integrated mulch system chops up the grass clippings into very fine pieces. These fall back onto the grass as natural fertilizer.
Can rain or water damage Robolinho?
No, Robolinho has a waterproof housing and the rain sensor assures that the operation is interrupted in the event of rain. Robolinho then drives back to the base station.
When does Robolinho work?
You can programme Robolinho to work at any time of day or night. (Please observe the locally/legally permitted mowing times.)
How loud is the mowing noise?
Robolinho works very quietly; the guaranteed sound power amounts to 65 dB (A).
Can Robolinho cause injuries?
No, due to the fact that Robolinho works independently. And furthermore: multiple safety sensors assure your safety: The bump sensor detects objects in the field and turns around. The lift and tilt sensor assures that the blades stop immediately. There is also an emergency-stop button on the housing itself. Robolinho has been tested by TÜV and carries the GS mark.
Does it help protect the environment?
Yes, Robolinho runs on a powerful lithium-ion battery and no oil or petrol is used. (2.9 Ah / 25.2 V). No exhaust is produced.
I have allergies, is Robolinho suitable for me?
Robolinho does not pollute the air. Grass and dust particles are hardly stirred up and thus the likelihood of causing allergic reactions is greatly reduced. Since Robolinho is able to work on its own, it is well-suited for allergy sufferers.
Is the motor powerful enough to cut longer blades of grass, e.g. after a long holiday?
The grass should not be longer than 15 cm high, however, the specification does depend on the thickness of the grass. We recommend not mowing more than half of the height of the grass.
Is fallen fruit a problem?
Yes, all foreign objects can cause malfunctions.
How big an area is Robolinho capable of cutting?
Robolinho can cover a garden area up to 1200 m².
How do I operate Robolinho?
Robolinho comes with operating instructions and a quick-start guide. Your dealer will be happy to show you how to operate Robolinho.
Can multiple areas be mown?
Yes, if they are connected via a corridor. Or if you set up a second base station on the secondary area.
Does Robolinho care for my lawn?
Yes regular mowing, which can be set via the weekly program, will achieve an optimal care of your lawn. The mulching system takes care of mowing and mulching in one step. The grass clippings are reduced to very small pieces and fall back down between the blades of grass where they serve as fertilizer.
How long does mowing take?
Naturally, the total mowing time depends on the size of the area, the denseness of the grass and in which growing phase (time of year) the grass is in.
Do I need computer to program Robolinho?
No, operating Robolino is easy using the user interface with LCD display and six buttons.
Do I need a second rechargeable battery?
No, the running time is very long. In addition, lithium-ion batteries have no memory effect. No self-discharge can thus occur and this ensures a long service life.
How does Robolinho know where it is currently working?
Robolinho moves randomly within the mowing area traced out by the border cable. It will not drive over this "virtual fence".
Do I have to collect the grass clippings?
This is absolutely unnecessary. The finely cut grass clippings decompose quickly and provide a natural fertilizer.
What about my pond?
Ponds, swimming pools and other areas are excluded from the area to mow using a using a border cable.
How can I cut the edges of the lawn?
If you activate the edge mowing feature, Robolinho will mow along the border cable. The outlined area will then be mowed further.
What does the home button next to the display do?
If you press the home button, Robolinho will take a direct route "home" along the border cable to its base station and will no longer mow on this day.
Do I have to be present when Robolinho is working?
No, but the customer must decide whether to allow Robolinho to operate with or without supervision. In either case, it is safe and saves time.

Will the Robolinho be distracting in the yard?
Certainly not because of its noise level. The Robolinho is a high-tech product with impressive performance and unobtrusive colour.
Robolinho drives in a zigzag course back and forth. Does not this leave unattractive marks in the grass?
No, it does not leave an uneven pattern during cutting. The rotating blades only generate a slight air current and the grass is not pressed flat, which would otherwise leave stripes on lawn surface.
Do I need to put a roof over the base station?
